HELLO EVERYONE ...

Just like with any other of my previous  websites ... the end has finally come. This site has been up (including previous versions of it) ever since I found out about Xenosaga. Being a Xenogears fan I took interest and made this website as a little hobby to keep me occupied and also to inform others. I am honestly loosing interest in the Xeno games as well as any other games ... therefore I am closing this site up. I'm still going to play the series as it comes along, I just don't care AS MUCH as I used to.

For anyone who wants to use any info from my website ... feel free do do so as long as you give me credit, but please don't bother emailing me about anything Xeno related.

Thanx to any people who visited/liked my site.

I will probably be opening a fan site on a yet unknown band named SLIGHTLY STOOPID ... they play some decent music so check them out, especially if you like 'sublime'.

The New Look Xenosaga ... First Episode 2 Images!

The new issue of Japanese magazine Famitsu yet to officially come out) contains first images of the very different Xenosaga Episode 2. I dunno what to think ... the new graphics look much better but it just seems to be too much of a change from the first installment. But as long as the story and music are good, I'll be happy. Also, I think it is now official that the subtitle for episode 2 is 'Jenseits von Gut und Bose' meaning (I honestly don't know what?)... Shion's brother Jin will supposedly play an important role in game. Some character design changes have been noticed; Shion, no glasses, KOSMOS, no head gear, Mirgulis, no scar ... but they may have a link to the story ... game is 35% complete ... Wow. Haven't updated for a while. Some Episode 2 info. More PAL release info etc.

1. There has been stuff going on with the game but I just didn't update for some reason/s. First of all Episode 2 has OFFICIALLY been in development for some time.

2. I asked some guy at EB (Perth) for Xenosaga release date and they actually had it in their release book ... some more hope for you that want the game in PAL.

3. I still haven't finished the game ... I'm damn lazy, but I'm nearing the end and I'm stuck on a boss.

4. Also Episode on is being Re-released (October 2003) in Japan under name Xenosaga: Reloaded (don't like the title). It will keep the changes of the US version ... or so they say, but I really don't understand why since US had stuff cut out etc. Maybe there is more to it then we know.

5. Reports/rumors say that apparently the Episode 2 subtitle will be "Zenaku no Higan" or "Jenseits von Gut und Boss" meaning "Beyond Good and Evil" or something like that.

6. Last thing. KOSMOS appears in a NAMCO RPG 'Venus & Braves' as a hidden character who gives you the most powerful item in the game (something like that) V&B looks like a cool game but I hear it's not making it outside of Japan but I might be wrong. 

Think that's all the info over the past months ... stay tuned for more updates when Namco and Monolith hold a meeting on 21st July (and be patient). Donnie Darko is an awesome film. WATCH IT!

UPDATE ... US Release Sales and Episode 2 Rumors

Xenosaga has been released in US some time ago, and it is now known that in the month of February (only 3 days into its US release) it sold  114,896 copies, making it #6 best seller,  which isn't bad considering its only after 3 days.

About Time ... Finally got Xenosaga: Episode I!

After almost a year after the Japanese release, I finally got it. Took me a while but I have it. I'm playing it right now, and I'll post my impressions sometimes soon. Being a Japanese game, I don't understand it one bit so I won't comment too much on the story. I however plan on reading the translation guide (www.gamefaqs.com) as I play the game, and hopefully pass it somehow. Once I do pass it (if I do) I'll write a full review. Then comes February and I'll play the game in English. Anyway stay tuned for the impressions ... coming soon.

Movies Section Added and an Official Wallpaper

I added the 'Movies' section with the Japanese version of scene which is planned to be censored/edited for the US release. Also, an official wallpaper is now available, featuring KOS-MOS ... nice stuff!

Promoting Xenosaga

Namco seems to be trying hard to promote Xenosaga before its US release. The official website is now opened as you probably know (xenosaga.com). Now Namco launched a website which purpose is to promote (or rather help others/fans promote) the game. TeamXenosaga.com - you can sign up and get exclusive news and downloads. Also, another new thingy is X.I.D, a neat little program. Its not big so just download it from the official website here. I wasn't able to connect to it yet probably because my computer is simply crap or because I'm downloading something at the moment, so don't bother asking what it does. So that's all for now ... not long till the English release!

Play Some Music!

Happy new year everyone. Almost a whole new year has passed and i still haven't gotten my hands on Xenosaga. I keep waiting for a mail-man to knock on my door and deliver the damn game but doesn't happen. Maybe tomorrow ... or maybe the games got lost on the way to OZ. Anyway, I put up a new link in Other Links section "Video Game Jam". Its a nice website, which has guitar tabs for heaps of games including many RPGs. Check it out if you like, some of them are real easy to play while others may require some skill which I unfortunately do not posses. Yeah ... so ... keep my fingers crossed I actually get the package soon and hopefully be able to play it before the English version comes out late February.

US Release Date Announced

XS has been officially announced to hit the US shores on the 25th February 2003, but I really couldn't care less right now. No word on PAL release. Merry Christmas everyone and happy new year ...

My luck and English Demo

Hello, I received my 2nd package yesterday and still no Xenosaga, so it looks like I  won't be getting it for a while (again).

Anyway ... IGN.com has received a copy of Xenosaga demo which is in English. This pretty much confirms the English release (still keep your fingers crossed for PAL release though). You can download a video of the English version from here (ign.com). I will NOT comment on the voice acting ... ... ... ... ... ???

Wallpapers section added!!!

The wallpaper section has been added ... with one KOSMOS image. It's only 640x480 but it can be stretched. I will be making more wallpapers in future when I actually get some good ideas and can be bothered to. Also, I'll try to make them higher resolution.

Xenosaga by jacob_c7 RELAUNCH

I've been having hard time updating and changing anything on my previous site (which looked like one big picture) and therefore decided to change the layout to the one even before that, much more simple to navigate and update.

Absolutely everything (to my knowledge) form the old site should be here now PLUS, I finished of the characters section.

I was supposed to receive Xenosaga copy in mail today but when I opened the package, all 13 games that I ordered were there except for Xeno. I have luck with his game :( ... but unless something weird happens (again) I should receive another package and hopefully containing Xenosaga this time ... sometime within 1-2 weeks ... so stay tuned for my impressions. Hope you like the new site.
